The
Reverend Mark S. Nestlehutt, Rector
Mark
was called as 34th rector of Christ Church in the summer of
2003. Prior to coming to Christ Church, he served parishes in downtown
Chicago and Hingham, Massachusetts and was bishop’s aide
and chaplain in the Diocese of Massachusetts. A Georgia native,
Mark
attended seminary at the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge,
Massachusetts. Before ordination, he served as a naval officer
and
worked in banking and asset planning. An avid sailor, Mark lives
in St. Michael’s with his wife, Abigail, and children

The Reverend Abigail Crozier Nestlehutt, Associate Rector
Abigail serves as Associate Rector for Pastoral and Community Ministries
at Christ Church where she has coordinated new member incorporation,
Stephen Ministries and various pastoral initiatives. She also serves
as primary clergy liaison to the Church School. A native of Wellesley,
Massachusetts, Abigail was a varsity rower in high school and college
and worked as an admissions officer before ordination. She holds
degrees from Harvard Divinity School and The General Theological
Seminary in New York. Prior to coming to St. Michaels, Abigail served
parishes in downtown Chicago and Falmouth, Massachusetts. revabigail@christstmichaels.org

The Reverend Paul D. Winters, Assistant Rector
Paul has served on the staff of Christ Church since 2001 and is
ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).
During
his years of ministry he has served as a missionary in Ethiopia,
as well as pastor to Lutheran congregations in Michigan and Ohio.
Paul attended Trinity Seminary in Columbus, Ohio, and holds a Ph.D.
in Clinical Counseling from the University of Toledo. He is co-chair
of the Eastern Maryland chapter of Integrity and is a stained glass
artisan and owner of Caledon Glassworks in St. Michaels. Paul

William R. Thomas, Director of Music & Organist
In 2007, William R. Thomas celebrated his 20th anniversary as
Organist and Director of Music at Christ Church – St. Michael’s
Parish. A native of Pittsburgh, Bill earned his Master of Music
degree from Florida State University’s School of Music. He
is actively involved in music education, church music and music
theatre. In addition to his responsibilities at Christ Church,
Bill teaches music and directs the choir at Easton High School.
Bill and his wife Diane live in St. Michaels with their daughter

Carolyn Coyle Finch, Parish Administrator
Carolyn, Christ Church’s Parish Office manager since 2005,
enjoys serving the whole Christ Church community. Hers is the
voice
that greets our callers and the face that welcomes office visitors.
In addition to her general responsibilities, Carolyn works with
our parish treasurer and our office volunteer coordinators. An Emergency Medical Technician - B, Carolyn volunteers her free time with the St. Michaels Fire Department and the Tilghman Island Fire Department. She
and her husband Al live with their daughter McKenzie in Wittman. carolyn@christstmichaels.org

Robert Thompson, Sexton
Robert has served as Sexton at Christ Church since 1992 where
he oversees the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our buildings
and grounds. An integral part of the St. Michaels’ community,
Robert is the Bishop of the Missionary Gospel Apostolic Church
#5.

Dominique Sturgis, Nursery Director
A fulltime caregiver at the St. Michaels’ Branch of Easton
Day Care, Dominique oversees and staffs the parish nursery on Sunday
mornings and for special parish events. Children and adults love
her and her spirit and personality generally win over even the most
“mommy-dependent” child.
