Susan Wiest

Susan lived in Baltimore and worked as a realtor before moving to the Eastern Shore with her husband Steve in 2005. Leaving Rock Hall in 2015, they moved to St. Michaels to be close to their son Mark and his family. Susan had the pleasure of getting to know St Michaels by strolling through town with her grandchildren. Attending Easter service in 2018 let her see the beauty of the church and have an appreciation for the insightful sermons of Fr. Steve. Feeling good to be a part of this community, she enjoys serving as a docent to showcase the beauty and history of CCSM and has helped with some special projects for the church through her role as chair of Food, Fun, and Fellowship.

The Table of the Lord

This is the table, not of the Church, but of the Lord. It is made ready for those who seek God, those who love God, and those who want to love God more. So come, you who have much faith, and you who have little, or are questioning faith. Come, you who have been here often, and you who have not been for a long time or ever before. Come, you who have tried to follow and you who have failed. Come, not because the Church invites you; it is Christ who invites you to be known, to be fed, to be loved here.
